About Canberra Breast
Canberra Breast is a specialist breast assessment clinic based in Garran, ACT, opening July 2026. We provide specialist breast ultrasound, biopsy and breast imaging assessment directly to patients — and dedicated subspecialty reporting to imaging providers across the region. We believe that breast imaging deserves focused expertise, and that better outcomes start with consistent, high-quality, subspecialist-led care.

Lead Radiologist
Subspecialist breast radiologist with extensive experience across BreastScreen, public hospital breast services, and private practice. Chaturica has broad expertise in diagnostic breast imaging, including assessment clinics, complex diagnostic work-up, and multidisciplinary team meetings. She is committed to thorough, patient-centred care and the highest standards of breast imaging practice.
Melissa Ferguson
Chief Radiographer / Sonographer
Dual-qualified Radiographer and Sonographer with 15 years of specialised expertise in breast imaging. Melissa has worked across BreastScreen ACT and BreastScreen NSW, developing deep expertise in breast sonography and procedural imaging. She brings a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centred care to every appointment.
